Newest in a long line of 'last ever' dreamcast shooters, the mediocre Warashi (it's a shame to say that) Naomi-based game Trigger Heart Excelica will be hitting the Dreamcast in February 2007, under the name (as you may have surmised) Trigger Heart Extension. The game will get the standard premium and normal editions, according to Arcadia, who reported the news first. If you want more info on the game or Warashi, check our post announcing the unveiling of the Naomi arcade original.

Senko No Ronde (旋光の輪舞)

[attachment=45408] Senko No Ronde is G Rev's NAOMI title which is roughly translated as "Dance of the Round". It attempts to blend the genres of Fighting and ShootEmUp.
The game has been very popular since its announcement, and became even more popular when he received word from a Directing manager at G.rev, that the DC port would be released around the end of 2005.
Unfortunately, that port never came. It would seem that G Rev chose to release the title for the failing Xbox 360 instead, which spawned much controversy over the benefits of doing so.
Many feel online play would be a great factor, but chances are that it will only be available to japanese customers, and the way things have gone for the 360 in japan; DC sales would sure look a lot more promising.
There have been huge efforts from all sorts of Dreamcast users around the world to convince G Rev to give us a Dreamcast port. Petitions have only just been sent, so there is still some time to wait until we find out whether or not our efforts have the same results as they did for Border Down and Shikigami No Shiro II.
