The Robot Object-Oriented Recording technology examines objects in the application-under-test at the Windows layer during recording and playback. Robot uses advanced methods such as internal object names to identify objects, instead of using mouse movements or absolute screen coordinates. If objects in your application's graphical user interface (GUI) change locations, your tests still pass because the scripts are not location dependent. As a result, Object-Oriented Recording insulates the GUI script from minor user interface changes and simplifies GUI script maintenance.

即使你的程序图形界面位置变换了，你的测试脚本仍然能够通过，因为这些脚本并不依赖于坐标。
这使得GUI脚本(这里应该是说不怕图形界面有小的变更……但是，不知道怎么说比较顺畅)，并且降低图形界面维护难度。
