Zoop is a puzzle game for the Play Station that is very good. Why is it very good, you ask? Read my review to find out the answers to this question.

GRAPHICS--7/10

The graphics are very good for a puzzle game. The different shapes in this game give this game a very interesting appeal. When you advance to another stage, the background changes to an even better background. The background in each stage is very unique, from a plain black background in stage 1 to nothing but clouds in stage 10 and beyond. Overall, the graphics are very good.

SOUND--7/10

The sounds are very good as well. The music consists of new age, funk and jazz music, which gives it a decent selection. Also, when you clear a vertical row of five shapes of the same color, or clear a horizontal row is seven shapes of the same color, you'll get a woman's voice saying "5,000" or "10,000", respectively, because you get that many points for clearing a entire row of shapes of the same color. Overall, the sounds are very good.

CONTROLS--10/10

Controls for a Play Station game can't get any simple that Zoop's controls. You use the Directional pad to move your triangle shape around the "Center Square" and any of the buttons to fire your triangle shape at the other shapes in hopes of eliminating them. Overall, the controls are excellent.

GAME PLAY--7/10

The game play is very good. The ever changing backgrounds give you a visual challenge. You can choose between "Continual", which the remaining shapes on the board are carried over to the next stage, or "Level", which you have a cleared board at the start of each stage. You can start the game from stage 1 or up to stage 9. you can also choose a "Difficulty Level" from 0 to 4. You'll also have some fun trying to beat your previous high score. Overall, the game play is very good.

OVERALL--7/10

If you're a Play Station owner who's hankering for a decent puzzle game, look no more than Zoop. The game is very challenging and fun to play. Over all, Zoop is a very good game.
